After being a loyal customer with Progressive for years, I almost had a heart attack when my renewal jumped from about $200/month to nearly $900/month to add a teen driver (then $600/month after that!). On top of that they said because I asked for a quote it was now mandatory to add our son to the policy even though we didn’t want to. Just for asking for a quote. 😵‍💫
